N. Salonen asked if staff could provide information regarding the hydro cut parking on Snyders Road, and noted that the Mennonite relief sale will be on Saturday and requested that the grass be cut on the road into New Hamburg.
S. Foxton requested that during the Trussler Road and Cedar Creek Road roundabout construction that no truck signs be placed on Trussler Road and Northumberland Street to prevent trucks from traveling on Piper Street. J. Rose stated that staff can work with Township staff on the issue.
J. Liggett noted that she has received a request from a business that the paving of the roundabout at Beverly and Dundas Streets be moved from Saturdays to a less busy day. J. Rose stated that staff will look into what can be done, but noted that there is only one day where paving will occur in front of the plaza.
D. McCabe requested that staff look at light crossing times as a part of the integrated mobility planning process. Doug Spooner, Acting Commissioner, Transportation, stated that staff can provide an update.
C. James requested information related to the Freeport bridge. J. Rose noted that the bridge is currently under load restrictions and staff can provide information on the construction timing.
In response to a question from D. McCabe, R. Regier stated that information was circulated to Council in response to questions about the delegation of planning authority to area municipalities, but noted it can be re-sent.
Responding to a question from D. Craig, M. Goetzke and D. Spooner stated that considerations for a pedestrian bridge across the Grand River at Galt Collegiate and River Bluffs Park need to be a part of the integrated mobility plan which will be put out to tender shortly and that bridge can be put into the scope.
